Charles Armstrong

Managing Director and CEO

Mr. Armstrong is a professional geologist with over 9 years’ experience across a range of commodities including Gold, Iron Ore, Zinc, Mineral Sands, Nickel, Lithium and Uranium. He has held Exploration Geologist roles across numerous publicly listed Australian companies including BHP Billiton and Northern Star Resources. Mr. Armstrong led the exploration programs for Firefly Resources before the company was taken over by Spartan Resources Ltd (ASX: SPR) and led the discovery of the Yidby West gold deposits for Surefire Resources NL (ASX: SRN).

Mr Armstrong holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology) and Graduate Certificate in Minerals and Energy Management from the University of Western Australia and is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and Society of Economic Geologists (SEG).

Robert Martin

Non-Executive Chairman

Mr. Martin is a successful businessman and accomplished company director with over 25 years’ experience across a broad range of sectors including mining and mining services, manufacturing and capital markets. Mr. Martin has a profound insight into corporate strategy, capital operation, management integration and business structures and efficiencies. Recently Mr. Martin owned and operated a large and highly successful mining services business with offices in multiple jurisdictions globally.

Mr. Martin currently holds the positions of Non-Executive Chairman of Pioneer Lithium Ltd (ASX:PLN), Non-Executive Chairman of Equinox Resources Ltd (ASX:EQN), Non-Executive Chairman of Critical Resources Limited (ASX:CRR), Non-Executive Chairman for Battery Age Minerals Ltd (ASX:BM8) and as Non-Executive, Non-Executive Director of Parkd Ltd (ASX:PKD) and Director of Volt Carbon Technologies (TSX-V:VCT).

David Pevcic

Executive Director

Dr. David Pevcic is an investor and businessman, with a principal focus on the resources and technology sectors. Dr. Pevcic is the Non-Executive Chairman of Nanoveu Limited (ASX:NVU), Non-Executive Director of Battery Age Minerals Limited (ASX:BM8), and the founding director of several privately owned mineral exploration companies.

David holds a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Western Australia and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. ‎

Dr. Andy Wilde

Non-Executive Director

Dr Wilde is a geologist with over 35 years industry experience, including over 10 years’ as chief geologist for uranium mining and exploration companies Paladin Energy Ltd (ASX: PDN) and Deep Yellow Ltd (ASX: DYL).  In these roles he was responsible for leading technical aspects of uranium exploration and project assessment in Namibia, Malawi, Canada and Australia among others, and played an important role in the discovery of Deep Yellow’s Barking Gecko and Iguana uranium deposits in Namibia.  More recently he provided the technical basis for the ASX listing of 92 Energy Ltd (ASX: 92E) and was pivotal in the discovery of that company’s GMZ uranium deposit in Saskatchewan, Canada.  For the past few years, he has run a successful consultancy, advising many companies on uranium and rare earth exploration. 

Andy holds a Bachelor of Science degree with first class honours from the University College of Wales Aberystwyth and a PhD dealing with unconformity-type uranium deposits from Monash University in Melbourne. He is a Fellow and Registered Professional Geoscientist (Mineral Exploration) of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and a Fellow of the Geological Society of Australia. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. 

Harry Spindler

Company Secretary

Mr. Spindler is an experienced corporate professional with a broad range of corporate governance and capital markets experience, having held various company secretary positions and been involved with several public company listings, merger and acquisition transactions and capital raisings for ASX-listed companies across a diverse range of industries over the past 22 years. Harry is a member of the institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australia. Harry is currently the Company Secretary of Balkan Mining and Minerals Ltd (ASX: BMM), Equinox Resources Ltd (ASX: EQN), Critical Resources Ltd (ASX: CRR), Hazer Group Ltd (ASX: HZR) and Battery Age Minerals Ltd (ASX:BM8).

Paul Hughes

Chief Financial Officer

Mr Hughes is an experienced finance & accounting professional with a demonstrated track record of success in financial leadership and strategic decision making. With experience across a range of sectors including the last 12 years within ASX listed mining environment, Mr Hughes has consistently delivered exception results, driving financial performance and operational excellence.

Prior to joining Battery Age, Mr Hughes held multiple finance positions within Pilbara Minerals, most recently overseeing the Corporate, Planning & Investment function.  In this role, he was responsible for delivering integrated mine, financial, and business planning encompassing vital aspects such as life-of-mine modelling, expansion plans, capital, funding, and financing strategies, which recently delivered final investment decisions for the expansion projects at the Pilgangoora mine site.

Mr Hughes has also held senior finance positions at Orica (Mining Explosives), Downer Mining (Mining Contractor) and early career experience in the finance and banking sectors. Mr Hughes holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).
