Summary
Infini Resources (ASX: I88) has completed a 2,230 line km airborne electromagnetic and magnetic geophysical survey — the first modern helicopter-supported survey over its 252 km² Portland Creek Uranium Project in Newfoundland, Canada — and has received the final laboratory assay results from its 17-hole, 5,311 m Phase 2 diamond drilling program. Preliminary EM interpretation confirms resistive granite bedrock with no discrete conductors identified, consistent with the shear-zone hosted uranium deposit model, while high-resolution magnetic data is expected to enable identification of new structural targets and hydrothermal alteration corridors across the full tenement package. Final assay results confirmed uranium mineralisation in nine of 17 drillholes, spanning multiple target areas across more than 6 km of strike and demonstrating the district-scale extent of the uranium-bearing hydrothermal system at Portland Creek, with PCDD25-019 returning near-continuous uranium anomalism across more than 310 m of downhole length. Integration of the complete drilling dataset with airborne geophysics and an upcoming field program of structural mapping and rock chip sampling is expected to define high-priority targets for a Phase 3 diamond drilling program of approximately 5,000 m, planned to commence in Q3 CY2026.
